Anchoring Stitches (sewing) – Sewing Word of the Day
Anchoring Stitches (sewing) –
Anchoring stitches are a set of tiny stitches used to secure the start and/or end of a seam.
Use the smallest stitch length on your machine and take around 5 or 8 stitches. Adjust the stitch length as needed and continue your seam. At the end of the seam, repeat anchoring stitches.
