Serger (sewing machine) – Specialized sewing machine that creates an overlock stitch. Some home serger machines can convert to make a cover stitch or chain stitch.
Patch Pocket (patterning) – Pocket attached to a garment by applying in a similar way to a patch or applique. The pocket is entirely on the exterior of the garment. Patch pockets can be made in nearly any shape and size and placed in nearly any location on the garment.
